Lesco Bill Unit Rates [ 2021 ] – Latest Unit Rates

Lahore Electric Supply Company is governmental machinery that provides electricity to commercial and residential areas.  The bill is charged from the customers on the basis of units. We are going to discuss the Lesco bill unit rates 2020 and 2021. These rates and tariffs are changed with the passage of time.

The bills are divided into multiple subtypes. The unit rate for each type is different. The types include Residential, Commercials, General Services, Industrial tariff, and temporary tariff. The per-unit rate of each of these types are different. In addition to this, the rate of per unit also varies with the increase in units.

You might be thinking that the lesco officials are doing some corrupt things which make the bill increase. There are certain peak times in a day. During that peak time, the rates are quite high. It means that you will be paying more money on the consumption of a single unit.

Lesco bill rates 2020 and 2021

Before we go any further, let me discuss the peak time for the whole year. From December to February, the peak hours are 5 pm to 9 pm. From March to May, peak hours are 6 PM to 10 PM. From June to August, peak hours are 7 PM to 11 PM. From September to November, peak hours are 6 PM to 10 PM.

Rates for general supply for Residential

For the consumption of less than 5kv supply, the rates are as follows

In addition to these charges, there are few other charges which are included. These charges are Variable Nepra, Applicable Variable Charges, and government subsidies.

Rates for general supply for Commercial

For the consumption of less than 5kv supply, the rate is 19.26 per unit. In addition to this, there are nepra charges and applicable variable fee. Similarly, for the consumption over 5KV supply, the rate per unit is 18.01. There is a fixed charge of 400, variable charges, nepra charges, and government subsidies.

Rates for general supply for Industrial Sector

The rates are depended upon the kilowatts. If we install up to 25 kW, the rate per unit will be 18.32 along with 17.9 nepra charges, and 15.28 applicable variable charges.

For the 25 to 500 KW, the rate per unit is 15.79, along with the fixed charges of 400, nepra charges, and variable charges.

Rates for Temporary Supply

If you want temporary electricity, Lesco will also offer you that. For residential, it will cost you 20.84 PKR per unit along with 18.15PKR for nepra charges, and 20.84 fixed applicable charges. On the other hand for commercial, it is 18.39 per unit along with nepra, applicable charges.

In addition to this, for temporary industrial supply, the charges per unit are 16.36 along with NEPRA charges and applicable charges. The subsidy by the government is also provided.
